Stranded in San Diego County? Call us at any hour
Blown tire on I-5 at 2 a.m., or a dead engine in a Coronado garage? Call (858) 925-5546. We’re a referral line, not a fleet of trucks. Someone picks up around the clock, every day, and connects you with an independent licensed tow operator able to take your job. What do drivers ask about emergency towing?
How much does an emergency tow cost in San Diego?
Whoever accepts your job quotes it for your vehicle and your route. Before the truck heads out, ask for a single total and find out what it covers. Heavy-duty and long-distance work get their own quotes. When the invoice arrives, compare it to that total.
How fast can someone get to me?
No countywide arrival window is published. Drives from coastal and central addresses are often shorter than those to East County, the backcountry, or the Pendleton corridor. Once the operator taking your job knows where you are, they’ll give you the estimate.
Will someone come to the freeway?
When they can do it legally and safely, independent operators here will take a private call from a freeway shoulder. A rotation tow ordered by CHP works differently from a call to this line. On a covered freeway during Freeway Service Patrol hours, 511 is another option.
What do I do while I wait?
On a freeway, keep your seatbelt on and your hazards flashing, unless you see fire or smoke. If you’re already somewhere safe and firm beyond the travel lanes, keep out of traffic. Never swap a tire in a live lane. Call (858) 925-5546 and stay put so the operator can find you.
Do you take insurance or motor club jobs?
Already have AAA, an add-on from your insurer, or a warranty program? Call that plan first, so they can send help under their own terms. No coverage, or this stop isn’t covered? This line pairs you with an operator who quotes you directly.
Where can the referral line connect callers for emergency towing?
Callers come from cities and communities all over San Diego County. Select yours for local access notes and details to share with the operator.
